Who sells Merkel shotguns in Canada?

I am looking to buy a real nice Upland shotgun and I was wondering who sells Merkel shotguns in Canada?

Any help would be appreciated.

But the question is, are they worth the effort? I've been thinking about a nice Merkel as well and keep going back and forth - I've only seen a couple and its a big leap of faith to buy sight unseen!
 
All these high end, top quality firearms are bought for lifetime. In other words,
you will likely keep, admire and use it over your lifetime and then pass it onto the next generation. Are they worth it? Does Mercedes make better cars then Dodge, Ford or GM?
 
i believe i saw the Merkel guns on the FN Sports/RNichols catalog last year, along /w Blaser and HK.

so any of the FN Sport dealers should be able to get it for you.

Of course a quality gun is worth the expense - perhaps I was misunderstood. At that range you get into a series of quality new and used guns.

A Merkel at Canadian tire? I gotta move out West. Ellwood Epps in Orillia Ont. is a Merkel dealer. If I could afford one I would order it from them.

in septembers issue of canadian access to firearms, there's an ad for estate and collection sale and there are several merkels listed. 1 16 ga. double. $5,500.00. number is 613-832-1590.

Check out my ad under Exchange Shotguns for a mint, hi-end Merkel 147E 20 ga. IC&M chokes and straight English stock. I'm 83 now, my last bird dog's long gone, and gun only gets hauled out of gun safe every couple of months for an oiling. There's not a scratch or any mark on it, and bores are bright silver... Bert
