You'll be happy with the Bushnell.
The Nikon has a superior sight box and longer eye relief at the expense of field of view. The Nikon is also superior in clarity and light transmission, IME.
I disagree with the comment about the Nikon reticle being clunky. These reticles are a fusion of minimalist target shooting reticles and 'clunky' hunting reticles! "Clunky" has a purpose in a hunting reticle. Ironically I definitely find the DOA reticle to be 'clunkier' than the Nikon BDC reticle. The BDC circles are wonderful for distant targets as opposed to the hashes and dots on the DOA, which can obscure the target image at distance. My only wish is that the Nikon BDC circles for further distances became progressively smaller as opposed to remaining the same size.
All of that being said, you are going to be entirely tickled with the Bushnell. It's a great scope!
