Looks like the price of the GSG went from 379 to 399 in the last few weeks on all the supporting dealers websites.

That was caused by the high euro. The price went up after the first time we bought it but we kept the prices the same then the euro went up agian and we were forced to raise the prices a little bit.

Best regards,
Scott

The Colt govt 1911 .22 actually ends up being about $600 tax and all. I have one coming some day. In the mean time I picked up the GSG at TSE for less than 4 with an extra mag!
Yesterday I ran a 333 Winchester value pack through it and it worked very well. I had about 5 stoppages dues to unchambered rounds. It ejected the spend casing but didn't grab one out of the mag.
I was all over the paper for about 100 rds then I got used to it's light weight and started to make groups that I could live with. I usually shoot an uberti 1873 in .45 colt so it was a bit strange getting used to it.
After the ammo was spent I talked to the guys at the counter (Calgary shooting center) they had both the Colt and the Chiappa. It is very similar to the colt in size weight and quality. The Chiappa is a junky looking toy compared to the other two. Icant wait to get my Colt and see how it compares.
I hope this helps

Gas Boy,

Well, if you can make a review of the Colt when you shoot it that will be appreciated.
My concern mainly would be:
Is it worth to buy the Colt at 6 bills or the GSG for 4 bills?
Pls. consider quality of machining, finish, reliability, and accuracy.

thanks.

I sure will man. If it ever gets here. I will say tho the Uberti .45colt makes a way bigger hole. Lol I shot 45 250 grain for a total of 11,250 gr of lead on the target compared to 10,656 of the 32 grain .22. That's kind of funny hey?
