Who sells Volquartsen 10/22 parts in/ship to Can?

I just looked at the padded envelope I received from a Hawktech order for VQ hammer/extractor from last November...$1.49 in stamps.

I talked to him about that. He has more paperwork involved now and a lot of items get tied up for weeks at Cdn customs so he is involved in more discussions with customers about late delivery of items.

I wouldn't be surprised. It took over 3 weeks for my stuff to arrive when I ordered. Christmas rush probably had something to do with it, but gun parts going across the border seems to be a recipe for delays.

There's no more paper work then there ever was in the last year and a half!
So....customer service now costs us $13.50 U.S. ?????
What a blatant ripoff and a crock of chit that is .... :jerkit:

Ordered some stuff from both Hawktech and Rimfire Sports on the same day. All were 10/22 parts.

I have received the order from Rimfire, a Volquartsen TG2000 (Hawktech wouldn't ship as it was over $100). Still waiting on the stuff from Hawktech.

Ya, I've got an order in with each right now - split up the orders to avoid the whole "we won't process orders over 100 dollars to Canada". Apparently that too is new.
Any orders over 100 bucks they cancel and do not process....likely what happened to Dismantler's stock order.

that isnt even remotely close to what happened to me.

i placed an order and a message said that it didnt go through, so i placed the order again. i checked my email and had two order confirmations. after that, i emailed repeatedly to get him to cancel one of the orders. i finally emailed him saying that i was going to put a stop payment on my visa and he freaked out and canceled my order.

Rimfire Sports will ship over $100?

I bought from both Hawktech and Rimfire - same day as well. Rimfire has arrived, only took about 4 or five days...still waiting on the Hawktech shipment though.
Customer service was great with both for me though - asked both some questions on email and both responded promptly. Hawktech is now charging more to ship internationally (15 us). Rimfire didn't charge extra.

But ya, Bits of Pieces has some stuff in stock - included GM barrels and has been great at answering questions.
Also - Fabsports has parts, barrels etc in stock - but I've sent a few emails asking questions and they haven't responded...will still likely end up ordering a new kid bolt assembly from them though - gotta love the scalloped version!

Last but not least - just ordered a trigger group from Hornet products, so we'll see how quick they ship, and what it's like.

I've ordered from both Hawktech and Rimfiresports. No complaints, it's great to have someone stateside willing to put up with a little BS to ship to Canada, especially without shipping charges. If that has come to an end, I'd be saddened but not surprised, and I would certainly buy from either of them again.

Hornet Products took just over a week to deliver to me. I got their 2 stage trigger with the aluminum housing. Looks pretty nice:dancingbanana:

Looks very nice! I didn't see the option for the aluminium housings when I looked...they mentioned them, but the option wasn't there so I assumed they were sold out!
Oh well - maybe next time.

I just recieved my parts from Rimfire and it was very quick like other poster said about 4-5 days and I thought they were good to deal with as well , plus you cant beat free shipping from the US .!

I received my barrel, and trigger kit from Bits Of Pieces in less than a week, and last night I assembled the gun.The trigger kit took the longest, but I had the complete gun assembled in about an hour. The trigger now breaks at just over 3 pounds compared to about seven pounds with the factory trigger.

Mine took two weeks: guess it depends on whether stuff is in stock and distance to ship.
