Who still chambers the .17 Mach 2 and WHERE can I get one??

Get a Sako Quad with all 4 barrels that way if the HM2 does die you still have a 17HMR, 22WMR, and 22LR. To answer your question, I believe all the big rimfire manufacturers (SAKO, RUGER, SAVAGE, and MARLIN) still carry them. You can get a rifle and ammo at Wholesale Sports - I picked up 4 bricks from the N Edmonton Store last weekend.
 
I was at the show in Calgary yesterday, and a fellow had a used one with a heavy metal Volquartsen barrel and various other Volquartsen parts stuffed in a Ruger receiver with a thumbhole laminate stock. Nice looking rig for using off a bench but maybe a tad heavy for walkabout rifle.
 
This is a royal piss off!! I tried to order a rifle in the .17M2 and he told me I was stupid!:mad: I have checked just about every manufacturer I can think of and you'd think they never chambered this round in a rifle, EVER! Can anyone out there guide me in the right direction with some model numbers and places where I can get my hands on one??

Call Clay at Prophet river,he may still have some CZ 452s in 17Mach2.He had several very recently.

Thanks for the info stubble jumper, but I don't exactly have the money to shell out for a CZ at the moment.

Anfoman; the guy who told me I was stupid for wanting one was a guy here at my local gunshop. The dumb part about all this is I KNOW WHAT I WANT!! Its like there is some sort of secret conspiracy against the 17M2. Even the idiots at wholesale sports acted like I was sniffing glue!
 
Well in my opinion you are kinda on glue but hey it takes all kinds right that's why there's more guns than a 22lr a 223 a 308 and a 338 right :) but for a business any business to call a potential customer stupid or even hint at it is simple sucide as far as I'm concerned.

They are currently running around $550.There was a NEF in 17Mach2 for under $200 in the EE just a few days ago.
 
WSS still has a couple marlins i believe, pretty cheap too. a S/S laminate heavy barrel was marked down to $199.95

If they had one in Edmonton,I would pick one up at that price.Unfortunately I don't see them on the WSS site,and WSS only does mail order out of the Calgary location.

Well I won't be buying the Savage,I just bought the stainless laminate Marlin for the same price from a forum member.It will hold me over until my Cooper arrives,my visitors can use it,and the resale should be better if I sell it later on.
