Who still has their Gen 1 Glock 17's?

I would love to get my hands on a birthyear (86) one. :D
I like the rail on my 3rd gen but it looks so nice without it, in my humble opinion.

When this post came up I thought oh wait I have one of those...I told a guy he could have it but if it doesn't go through it's going on the Exchange or back in the safe. Also 1986 excellent condition with original box with matching numbers and only a mag or two fired out of it is pretty rare. Find me a better one and I'm curious what it's worth?

Original G17 eh....

You mean like this one...??? Original G17 - Pencil barrel - 1984 production - being intentionally vague it falls between number 5000 and 8000 manufactured...

Did I mention it's pristine...:D

I have a G19, but not sure if Gen 1 or 2 ? probably 2. How do I check that ? the front and rear strap of grip has the molded serrations, gun is at least 15 yrs old..

for stormtrooper are you sure your sites are original? Just curious is your first 2 numbers in serial number AA-AD? my serial number is bc and 3 numbers after than austrian proof marks, i believe that it is Dec.1986 am i wrong here?
i'm asking about the sites bc mine are different and adjustable which hang over the edge as i've read all gen 1 original ones do.

It would be cheaper to buy a new one I have had all the gen's-than again not too many people can jump in their time machine and go back to '86 to get one. Not a big market but i'm sure someone out there would pay a good price for it.
