Who still likes there M+M 10X?

Anybody have issues with their M10x slam-firing? I got mine, cleaned off the packing grease, re-oiled it, and went to the range. Barnaul runs fine, but the PMC 7.62x39 would occasionally "double" and slamfire a second round. I tried Geco ammo next, and that stuff was creating 3rd bursts.

I stripped the gun down, cleaned it dry, and then applied a light coat of oil. Shot again. Had fewer doubles but they were still happening with the PMC. Tried reloads with CCI No.200 primers and it was 3rd bursts again.

Any advice?

I’m having similar issues but it’s the super light trigger slipping causing a quick double tap..

Stuck firing pin.???

Don't think so. I've stripped the bolt dry, lightly oiled it, and it 3rd burst on my first mag of ammo with CCI No.200 primers.

I'm not sure if that's my problem...I keep the trigger depressed after firing and let it reset rather than one quick pull and reset.

How could it be an ammo issue...?

Barnaul/surplus ammo has harder military primers whereas the brass-cased stuff uses commercial primers. Guns with free-floating firing pins (or if the firing pin spring is ineffective) can slamfire on softer commercial primers.

Had mine out on Saturday....no problems....40rnds of dominion with a primary arms 4x......115yards 6” steel plate.
Wasn’t able to hit it every time between myself and my buddy (his first time with it) but I think it could do better with a 6x.
I had fun and enjoyed the rifle.....love the trigger....no double taps!

Maybe the one I handled was just a poor example BUT, I couldn't load a new mag without the bolt automatically dropping (didn't fire but scared the #### out of me at the range) Couldnt open the stock...without the bolt dropping , feels and handles like a cheap knock off of an SG5** Id take my Famae 540 over it, and Id take my 550 over both of em! Also as its been said before, accuracy was...eh, SKS level 4~5moa

The bolt doesnt hold open. Its a YUGO AK MAGAZINE with a follower that blocks the bolt when empty. Taking the mag out drops the bolt, just like every other AK when using those mags.

Has anyone else had hard extract problems with their surplus ammo? mine fails to extract every 20 shots or so. also it really doesnt like mags with 5 rounds in it. magpul or metal mags.
