Who still sells cast bullets?

In the Duncan area, there's a guy I used to deal with on a regular basis for all my cast bullet supplies. He's a site member, does good work, wide variety of product and reasonably priced. Goes by Win Shooter.

Any details? Several of my friends are panicking because DRG was their primary bullet source.

It all sounds very positive for us cast bullet shooters.

The 'new guy' is a local shooter who is quite active in many shooting sports, so he started casting his own bullets a decade ago. His bullets were very high quality and he cast bullets that are used by many local folks, including myself. The fellow is a skilled mechanic with excellent fabricating skills so keeping the casting machines going should not be an issue. He said that the equipment was in very good shape.

He indicated that he has gotten hold of the casting machines, the sizing gear, the boxes and will be using the same bullet lube and lead alloy as the previous supplier. The switch in manufacturing should be nearly transparent to the folks who use the cast bullets.

When quizzed about new cast offerings he would not rule it out but wanted to get up and running soon with the 'old favourites' initially.

I look forward to continuing to shoot with these cast bullets and am eager to see them hit dealer shelves in the new year.

Good to know. If you get more details you should post them as I'm sure many S. Ontario shooters will be looking for a good source of cast bullets to replace the DRGs.
