The rear sight on the BW is, for sure, adjustable for both windage and elevation. Post is threaded for elevation and aforementioned dovetail with lock screws for windage. I can post pics if someone would like.
I agree with previous post that removed side rail as that is where my hand naturally sits.
My sights came strait also.
These are great shotguns, I don't miss my 870 one bit.
