Who Used The VZ 24

Here is the list of countries that used the VZ 24.
The information comes from the book,
“Mauser Military Rifles of the World”
Third Edition

1. Czechoslovakia 1924/1938
2. Slovak Republic 1939
3. Yugoslavia 1926
4. Lithuania 1926
5. Latvia 1935
6. Rumania 1938/4?
7. USSR 1938
8. Bolivia 1928/38
9. Brazil 1930
10. Colombia 1929/37
11. Ecuador 1936
12. Guatemala 1937
13. Nicaragua 1937
14. El Salvador 1937
15. Uruguay 1937
16. China 1927/39
17. Japan 1938
18. Persia/Iran 1929/39
19. Germany 1939/45

This book is a must for any serious Mauser collector. I found two guns in my collection that are one of a thousand. This is the only text that mentions them. As Claven2 mentions it is short on details and that is disappointing to a collector. I would like to have more detail like the "Mauser Bolt Rifles" by Ludwig Olson, or "Backbone of the Wehrmacht" By Richard D. Law.

Hope this helps with your question.

To expand, the author is Robert Ball for those looking to buy the book. Decent general reference, but short on detailed info for each type.
