just got 50lbs worth or 138gr bullets :p (never loaded for them before)...

how do you guys load them (or am I the only one  ?) I mean all the data is basically for 115,124 and 147 grains :(

I was thinking going with a mid point between 124gr and 147gr.

138? really unusual bullet weight- i've seen 130- that's the standard factory weight for the 38 super and used 9mm reduced buy a hair as for the 124s- in other words if you use say 5 grains of 231 for 124s, drop down to 4.7 for the 130's and go up from there-if they've got a crayon type nose on them, be aware they mike out at 355,(swc) and might be loose in your bore-my brother just went through a session where they were hitting sideways at 10 yards out of both a glock and a rinco-i've haven't noticed such a phenom with the beretta 92 or my tok, but i'm using 231 loaded fairly hot ( i feed an uzi too, and have to throw the bolt back hard enough to make the sear catch- light loads tend to double

138 gr

I got some Frontier 138 gr as there was nothing left in 147gr at Marstar. My chrony work revealed the following results. With Win 231 powder
3.9 gr in G17 average power factor = 127.5
in CZ85 PF = 133.6

4.1 gr in G17 ave PF =133.7
in CZ85 PF =138.5

4.3 gr in G17 PF =140.2
in CZ85 PF =145.2

Lots of snap....Mule

I'll be using Power Pistol; will probably start at 5.5gr and will try to work up to 6gr... should still be safe :)
