Okay so my father came over and brought some pretty interesting toys for me!!!

I dont know the name, but this very sturdy pistol case with two independant locks, one combo, one cylinder key:

These two brand new Uncle Mikes Delux Duty Pistol Belt and Uncle Mikes Glock Duty Magazine Holder:

Curious if anyone has any ideas on a pistol holster for a SmithandWesson MandP 9 that will fit that duty belt?

Now to get back on topic, my father also brought over these slip on finger grooves made by uncle mike:

I put them on, but have yet to take the gun to the range and try it out. My question is, how many of you use these things? Any of you guys think these are a very good/bad idea? I noticed that it does make the grip feel slightly bigger in my hands ... so I may end up putting the small backstrap on and readding these finger grooves as i currently have the medium backstrap on.

I used to use a Hogue slip-on grip on my Glock and USP--the Hogue has a bit of a palm swell that I liked. I found it really improved the feel although it did add to the chunkiness a bit.

i am interested in your post as i am in need of a holster for the M&P and also one that fits a duty belt...i cant seem to get the pics...i guess it would be too easy to click on it and open it up...

i'm not quite sure about hotlinking, but if you copy the link and past it to your address bar, and then remove the space between the h and the rest of the link:

^ remove this space

then the pics will work

thanks buddy, makes life easier, how much was that nice secure case? Can you fit two pistols in it? Let me know when you find a holster for the M&P...funny...you have the same pistol, mag pouches and belt as i do!

My father used to be a conservation officer in ontario .. had a usp handk in .40 but he's retired now. He just showed up on thursday and said "here's some things i had laying around you might like!" lol

Turns out to be all uncle mikes, the delux duty holster, and the glock mag holder that works well with the smith mags and the slip on grips. Their website now shows they list it as a universal mag pouch with velcro instead of snaps but mine still works great. My father also gave me his old uncle mikes police bag as well .. which i LOVE

Just got off the phone and he says he has an uncle mikes holster that should fit the mandp like a glove! I will post pics when I pick it up this weekend.

I should have the name of the case company once my father finds the book and calls me back, i'd be interested to see what other products they make.. The case was bought 10 years ago but my father did call them just last week so I know they still exist. You can fit 2 guns (one right side up, one upside down beneath it) or 1 gun and 2 or 3 mags. A heck of a lot nicer then the one that the pistol came in. Also came with some mounts to secure it to the wall or trunk of a car.

Uncle Mikes new LE website .. curious if they will sell new products to civies like me....

Assuming it is a 2 1/4in belt, a holster that fits the Glock 21 will also fit the M&P. Lots of choices in the way of duty holsters for Glock so you shouldnt have any difficulty.
Good luck

I have used the Uncle Mikes slip on grips twice, once on a beretta 92. I find it improved grip very nicely, with no interference, and they had a very tight fit as well. I especially found it usefull shooting RCMP PPC in the summer when my palms are sweating and the grip just adds that extra control compared to the hard plastic of the 92. Even though the grips were loners I am going to pick myself up a couple when I get a chance. Not sure how they would fit on other firearms but on my beretta it was great.

I use a Hogue slip-on grip on my S&W 2213, wouldn't ever get rid of it. It does make the magazine release a bit tricky as the release button is in the front of the grip and is hidden, not a problem if you know where to push.
