Who wants Hungry to do an M14 Course in Sudbury?

What is expected at one of these clinics. What time does it start and finish? How much ammo do i bring? Lunch? Sorry about the nubee question. I just bought my M14.

It's happening on Sunday (all day), you might have better rest if you drove up on the Saturday and stayed overnight! Who knows what the weather is gonna be like? Allow lots of time for your drive! That stretch from Parry Sound to French River to Sudbury can have some nasty squalls. I should know, been driving to and from the Soo for 28 years since my wife is from the Soo. :cool:

I would be booked in for this but I am still waiting for my rifle ... I assume it would be dumb to go with out a rifle ? I have collected all the stuff to put a scope and a bipod on it if it would get here ! I don't think it is very often that you do these so close to the Sault Ste. Marie area
 
Hmm, it's not that bad an idea. You are likely to learn a lot of useful stuff to apply to your new rifle when it comes in.
Question is, if you have something better to do on a Sunday, and are you willing to just sit in for $35.
Maybe another attending might be willing to let you use their rifle if you have ammo.

Hopefully Hungry chimes in about this.

Yes, because I do very few clinics up here, just show up and pay me at the door! You will still learn a poopload. Trust me, the $ 35 is the best you'll ever spend on this platform!

Just to let everyone know. There will be coffee and tea available. You need to bring anything else you want to drink.

We may have a minor conflict with the cadets being on site but I am sure if that is the case, we can work around it. Fortunately the club house is two levels with lots of space.

I look forward to seeing everyone.

I'm here in Sudbury staying warm... should be sunny with cloudy periods and -17 celcius... whoooohooo. I'm just watching the weather channel here in the hotel. :D

0900 start but gather for 0830, Tim's snacks will be there. I am watching the Weather Channel ... Minus 17 and partly cloudy. Drive safely. Trust me, the clinic is worth it all ! :D
