Where would a guy find a part for a Chiaapa 22 lever LA322TD?

Not 100% sure but I think it's called a "721.192 Spring Action Lever" LA 322
DO I have to make an oversea's call??? LOL

I know this maybe should have went in the Gunsmithing thread... just thought it might get more views here.
Mods move it if you must.

Well no word back from the gunsmith guy... not a peep.
My guess, they don't have the part and are waiting for Chiappa Italy to get back to them.
In the meantime Chiappa USA is sitting with 7 springs in the warehouse... some much for 'free trade' at our border.

While I'm waiting... thought I'd address the checkering on this 'new to me' rifle.
Thinking it was just done with a hot press and not real checkering.
Here's a shot of it cleaned up a bit after I removed the lacquer and stain.

Post more when I decide what colour I want it.
Here's a before.

After a quick reply, I then heard nothing but crickets on a chiappa parts inquiry from them. It's been two years, so I assume nothing will ever come of it. I ended up making my own part.

Although I also had a quick response saying the part was 'recognized' it took another two weeks to say 'none in inventory', but there might be a used one in a parts gun... if not, it would have to ordered from Italy.
Would have been nice if all was checked and dealt with in one text...

When I purchased my Chiappa Sharps before Christmas, I did an email to Chiappa Costumer Service in Italy... just for sh!ts and giggles... not really excepting a return email... well the next day there it was... all the info I asked for... go figure.

It would be nice to hear back about a used spring with in a reasonable time, if not... I'll most likely do the same and just make one.

Took a few phone calls and maybe a extra text here and there ;)... but in the end, SFRC came through with a used spring.

Gonna try and get to the range this week.

Had to glue it in place as it would just fall out if the receiver was turned over.
Maybe that's how it broke in the first place.
Don't care, Happy Camper once again... all in less than a month.

Thought I'd just add a little follow up.
Rifle performs as it should, maybe not the most accurate .22 I have, but par with most other .22 levers.

After waiting for a few weeks and not getting a direct answer on receiving a spring...
I did reach out to a few other shops.
Nothing...
And having 7 spring sitting in the US warehouse was starting to bug me...

Well look... one of the shops did reply... and even went the extra mile and generated this...

Edit:
I tried to post link, but it won't work... best I can do is a pic.

I am reluctant to buy another Chiappa firearm for the reason that parts are very difficult, if not impossible to obtain. I ended up making my own all steel magwell for this M1.
