someone else mentioned his education personally i could care less where anybody goes/went to school but even with $$$$ you still don't walk into yale/harvard etc.
i'm reminded of a jeff foxworthy comedy bit where he mentions a dude from the south could win the nobel prize for everything and everyone would still consider him an idiot because of his southern accent....
as far as leadership i'll let the history books decide that....

I like Bush. I do not want to start an argument, so please.....

Whoever didn't appeal to the Lieberal propaganda machine and their afficionados are bound to find themselves in all kind of humouristic situations.
From all, I thought this community is safe from Democrats and Lieberals.

Yes, memories of Ronald Reagan as U.S. President laying a wreath on a Waffen SS gravesite!
Yeah, but you gotta wonder if he meant to do that... after all, the Waffen SS hated the commies just like Uncle Regan :p

I wonder if the k98k's are vopo's, or maybe RC's... im guessing RC.

just because these cadets are carrying k98k's desnt mean they are nazi's, just means they know a good bolt action when they see one :D

I like George W. Bush. He is a cowboy and he don't give a rat's ass what people think about him.

I have no probs with cowboys, I just dont like it when theyre the most powerful men. And he HAS to care what people think, as he is the representative of the people.

As for the best president, Eisenhower is my favorite. Rose to the top through hard work and military service, not pappy's money. Bush and Clinton are both insignificant compared to him. Wilson was also pretty awesome.

Is it me, or is Bush signalling Heil Hitler while reviewing these German Navy honor guard troops with Nazi K98k rifles??? And what's with that Seaman on the extreme right eyeballing bush's ass while wearing blush and lipstick??? i think he's standing next to Colin Farrell...?

The only thing that matters is, I'm Glad it's not a Gun Grabbin' Democrat in the picture!:D

Trueman was the best. Wilson really screwed it up at the end.

All those Europeans thought Teddy Roosevelt was nothing more than a "cowboy" too,and he let them think that until they found out the hard way that he was not.

I noticed one person was commenting about Bush's competence, which I find hilarious in light of what you recently kicked out of office.;)

Oh, by the way folks, take another look at the old pics of nazi's saluting. The arm is straight out and the fingers are together.

Now, as for the Krauts, honour guards usualy have weapons that look good, as in ours with M14's or M1's rather than mouse guns.

IN any case when your main weapons are batteries of 3, 5 or 8 inch guns, whatever rifles you carry are irrelevant:D

The German honour guards all carry k98's, there is a website (in German) that lists all the years and manufacturers of the ones they use. I believe most of them were made by Sauer und Sohn and im almost positive they are all from the 1930's. I can't remember the name of the site (it is the home page of the "top" German honour guard) but somebody could probably find it with a little digging.

As for being educated at Yale, its highly irrelivant. Judge a man by his leadership qualities(W still not too good on that account), not his university diploma.

I agree 100%... and this goes for all people in all walks of life. Education does not define the person. If all it took to be 'worthy' is a Degree from Yale this world would be an even scarier place then it already is.

X2 on both comments

Looks like walking out dress, with the trousers loose outside the boots instead of inside like they should be. A bit sloppy looking.

Why do people always bring up the abreviated acronym NAZI when they discuss anything German and military? Hey, look at those NDP soldiers! Man those Liberal C-7's sure are stupid peeny-bullet firing POS!
Soldiers and their equipment are neutral. Even the Waffen SS should be considered soldiers, elite and fanatically loyal to their nation and society, but soldiers nonetheless. Labelling them and their weapons nazi is just not correct.
The English speaking tribes sure are vicious, petty and vengeful winners.
