It ain't his SOCOM job, so it's stock Norc...(I think...I've only been home for a few minutes- still gotta strip her down... she smells good though, just like the good ol' days...)

Love the norc M14 just the way she is , dont need to bling it up . its a thing of beuty already . its like putting a spoiler on a Nova .

Still have to get mine, but I will ... some day .... One of them will be kept stock (well, maybe a USGI FH for authenticity's sake), and I'd like to eventually get a 2nd one that will be a clone of the Vietnam era M21.

Bit O' rail action, for the bipod; still thinkin' for the scope mount,
Might dress her in some bedliner (gotta' strip her first, check the quality of that 'banana wood'...)
‘Side from that, she looks way to cool to cut down or mod to CQB…
Just goin’ to look for the gas system unitizing, plus the typical internal piece swap, and that’ll be it for this one.
Next one’s the CQB version…you can never have just ONE M14S….

Finally got her out to the range….
After warming her up w/ 4 5round groups, and working to figure these Chicom sights out…
Put 2x 5 round groups at 25m (the 50m rack was taken…..)
Then the balance at 100m. 3x 5round groups, iron sights. The 3 ‘flyers’ in the center were from my last group, when I shifted my point of aim.
Shot w/ stock iron sights, using Federal ‘Power Shok’ 180 Gr soft point.
Yah Baby….now I need 2 more…….

Nice gun, because I'm a lefty, I had eyed the Remington 7600 and the M305 are you kerr fisted too? If there are any southpaws out there with an M305 how are you finding it for ergonomics?
