Whole lotta Tavors for sale.

Whoa whoa whoa, why do you need that axe? And that assault-jigsaw! Hammers? You can use a shovel to bury a body! That scythe of yours is too dangerous, please ensure it is registered as specified under the "Sharp Objects Act of 2017"!

.... First they come for the hunters, then they'll go after the farmers / cooks... Just look at the UK, where you cannot even buy a set of cutlery unless you are over 18 years of age!

Or, where they have "consulted culinary experts" to look into banning cooking knives!

" They consulted 10 top chefs from around the UK, and found such knives have little practical value in the kitchen.

None of the chefs felt such knives were essential, since the point of a short blade was just as useful when a sharp end was needed. "

I've noticed that RobArms XCR's are dropping in price as well.
Perhaps when they hit $1500 or less, I'll grab one.

Probably more on sale with announcement of Modern Varminter.

After playing with a couple modern hunters I can't get all that excited about the MV. The MH is a really nice rifle but it's far from perfect. Both the ones I played with had reliability issues and didn't feed soft point ammo well. Kinda important in a rifle labeled as a hunter. The one I shot extensively did however feed FMJ and polymer tip bullets reliably. It was however having problems with pierced primers with a couple different types of ammo.
Definitely not worth the $4000-$5000 yet. I say yet because once they iron out the small issues it has a lot of potential.
Still a little pricey for me though for something that wasn't as reliable as my AR-10 and wasn't any more accurate.

I highly doubt it. We have had the XCR and ACR on the market for a while now, both fairly reliable and in a similar price range I expect the Modern Varmint to be in. I think anyone who dislikes the bullpup design would have gone with one of these options.

No matter how reliable and close the Modern Varmint is to an AR, it won't have the compact size of the Tavor and I highly doubt it will rival the function and reliability of an AR. I mean no disrespect to ATRS, I think they make great products and will continue to do so, but with a few of the issues I have heard about the Modern Hunter I'm definitely going to wait a bit for them to work out the kinks before considering one myself.

Flavour of the week is all. Next week it will be the XCR's. The week after that all the new Colt AR15's. The week after that.....

Yeah. I've been thinking of grabbing an IUR and maybe a lower, but seeing how many are hitting the EE makes me wonder. Probably a lot were impulse buys.

I find the IUR too short for my taste, I prefer a 12-15 inch forend with a barrel that just clears it.
That's just my flavor though, to each their own.
