You would think WSS staff should know this..
...............Wholesale is the Walmart of outdoor sporting goods.
................Go to Walmart and ask them something half assed technical and tell me how you make out.

pharaoh2 said:Wholesale sports sucks, and is run by monkey's. I'll whine about them on a public forum too. I just spent five minutes on the phone with the Calgary stores operator. Trying to get someone to answer the phone is like pulling teeth. Are they qualified to do that at least?
Too bad we can't all be experts.Gatehouse said:You are a complete fuccktard if ÂĄou want to get gunsmith advice from a retail store...Why blame WSS for your complete lack of knowledge?
Your issue is simple. Your sights are screwed.
Deal with it like a man,not a biatch.

PS Experts are not behind the counter of most retail outlets making minimum wage.![]()
Now you're being optimistic. I doubt they have 25%, while they sport things that are not in the catalogue.... in those turning diplay cases.... that never turn......adriel said:.......Also, the fact that 50% of their firearms product advertised in their catolog is not available even to order is retarded....
pharaoh2 said:the 336 w and a are the same rifle, except they use a beechwood stock, and a metal fore end cap. The action, guts, mag tube and follower and barrel are all the same. There are no flaws in any other respect. You would think WSS staff should know this...![]()

I go in knowing exactly what I want and therefore don't look for advice or lengthy BS sessions with the salespeople.
I'll do that if I have your assurance that they pay accordingly to one's apparent knowlege. I wouldn't have a problem making 30$/hr selling rifles to cowboys eager to explore BC's backcountry.Airborn_69 said:Thanks for the enlightenment if it is correct indeed..BrokeBack Mountain guns ain't my specialty thats for sure.
Since you know so much & love bashing the store, you should apply for a job at WSS to make it better?

adriel said:Wholesale sports is in high-volume retail. The employees should be able to point out major features or differences between the different products, and that's about it. Technical support is out of the question.
My big problem with Wholesale Sports is their crap/non-existant inventory system. "Let me check the back" should only be a small-time shop trick, not something that a larger shop does. Also, the fact that 50% of their firearms product advertised in their catolog is not available even to order is retarded. Anticipate consumer demand, liquidate stagnant products, keep popular products in stock.
Go into the Edmonton Wholesale Sports and take a look at the stock that they do have: 32 acp and 25 acp by the bucketfull, holsters that only fit prohibited size handguns, etc, etc. No .303 british dies to speak of, no .223 dies, etc. Plenty of left field calibers. Liquidate that crap, eat the cost, and get some stuff in there that people actually want.
Don't get me started on the catalog situation.
And your "expert" advise included calling him an ignorant fucctard biatch. For what?? Taking his gun back to where he bought it for advice? Big deal!Gatehouse said:If you want expert advice, ask one.
