Wholesale Sports Regina closing by years end

There are two little things there that Im waiting for the price to drop on. Not to many people are looking at these things so I confident that theyll still be there when I go again.

I was there and optics are 15% off and a salesperson said everything will be sold and nothing shipped out so discounts will become deeper, but the inventory will be more picked over. I bought a remote beeper collar for my dog at 30% off an already discounted collar so there are deals to be had. By the way the remaining sales people were very helpful which has been my experience there for the most part.

I was told the exact opposite by the young lady at the register. You surprised?? Me neither.

Titch - I made myself a "buy if they're still here in a month and better discounted" list.... you stay away from my cast iron pan!!!!

I was in there recently and they aren't taking this "deal" thing too seriously as the prices on guns, ammo, reloading stuff and optics for the most part is unchanged. Their 10% off on powder is a joke when most of the powder has been marked up to over $50 a pound.

Optics were marked down 15% if I recall correctly. Had a display case of Leupolds if that works. I'd call first before driving. Talking to a clerk, she said the real deals will go on after Xmas. That is if there are still clerks working. She said a lot of folks already have interviews elsewhere.

What he said.

Amen.

I'm pretty sure optics are a pathetic 10% off, as are guns and ammo. "Accessories" are 25% off, and I think reloading bits are too.

Thanks for the replies all! Guess I'll just wait until the big Boxing Day deals and make the drive. Can save up a few more nickels by that time too!

just back from there tonight.. 25% knifes. 25% off slings and bits. but really depends on what your looking for. cloths and packbacks are still pretty expensive

oh also. not happy.
there 3030 ammo was 32 bucks for the same stuff you can get at wallymart for 22...
did they bump up there prices to put a 10% sticker on it

Third trip to the store and $300 poorer. They dropped most discounts by 10%.
Bought 2x RedDot And 2x Power Pistol for $28 a lb.
Berger 6.5mm 120gr target for $47
Hornady 8mm 195gr for $42
Hornady 30 Cal 150gr for $28
Nosler 6.5mm 100gr Partitions for $35.
Oh and a couple boxes 12g slugs.. Saved 116.60.
I thought Canada Ammo was bad for my wallet. I've bought 10 lbs of powder in three weeks!

Yep, discounts increased an add'l 10%. Didn't have my PAL with me but managed to spend another $125. Going back tomorrow - they've put more ammo out on the floor!

I went in today and now the discount is 25% on guns and ammo. I got some reloading supplies at a "fair" price. Sadly their ammo prices after the 25% discount is at the same price as what Prairie Gun Traders is selling their ammo for. No doubt WSS is going out of business.

I've always enjoyed shopping at the Nanaimo location, and I've spent thousands of dollars there.

I would hate to see "my" WSS location close.

Id second that. The staff at the gun section at the Nanaimo WSS is pretty good.

However my best score ever was at Cabela's Nanaimo when they had a price mistake on flats of shotgun target loads. They scanned in at $7.99 each case of 250 so I got 4 cases. Went back that same day to get more but they had already corrected the mistake. Correct price was $79.99
