Wholesale sports sale

Because most ammo are still over priced even with 25% off. Only good deals are the ones you can stack rebate with

Agreed. I would rather wait for their prices to drop further and risk missing out. The prices now are good but not great. A good sale elsewhere can still beat their prices easily.

I looked long and hard but passed on the ammo too.

Just surprised it wasn't cleared out the way people lose their minds anytime a store throws up a "marked down sale!!!!!!!!" sign.

I'm going to wait a bit longer too. Some mild deals but only on a few things. Another price drop will bring certain ammo and what little is left of components to a decent price.

Well the last GP11 walked out the W/K store today .
(thank god, no more temptation to buy more )
I grabbed the last of the $7.50 box's of 20 ga trap .
Guy in front of me had a shopping cart full of cases of W/AA trap 12ga.
I scored the last Champion Wheelybird auto feed powered trap thrower . list price was $499. same as Cabalas .
40% off came to just under $300 ! (saved $200) The ammo shelves are getting pretty bare . Gun racks are thinning out too .
I'm sure they will announce further % off as it gets closer to the 28 (closed for good) but I'm not sure there will be much left by then :)

I assume W/K is West Kelowna? If so, bummer, because I was planning on heading down there for some GP11!

Went in today. Ammo I had been watching had its base price raised by over $10 a box. Brutal.

I keep hearing this but in the Winnipeg store all the shelf price tag label things are still the same old tattered ones from before they even announced closing. I'm not saying the prices are good though. Still going to miss having one more option in stores.

I bought a few things that I needed anyways but could not believe how many items had jacked up price stickers. Saw the same RPR rifle that others have on sale for 1599 and they were knocking a few bucks off 1899. I bought a 39.00 plastic holster that had been marked up to 59.00. It was 60% off so a good deal but the ridiculous mark ups is border line illegal in my view. I will not go back again no matter what they are reducing. F**ing crooks. They were even selling racks of items that WSS never even sold just to clear out other junk from the liquidator. They can shove it. All the brand new price stickers are good indications of new higher prices before the discount.

I was in the Calgary store yesterday and rifles are now 25 to 30% off.
Not bad even with the higher retail pricing to start with.

I bought a chronograph at the Kamloops store, marked $300 and 40% off, so $180. I checked amazon.ca when I got home, and found the same one for $150 and free shipping. Definitely have to watch the prices. Did ok on scope rings, powder, and bullets though. The reloading section is getting pretty thin, except the dies, all the basic RCBS ones are marked $60, even just the single neck sizing dies.

Grabbed a new spool of maxima chameleon fishing line for $56. 2650 yards...... they wouldn't give me the spiderwire line for the $27 it was marked at though...... said it was a mistake.
