Whoo Hoo!! I scored today!

I decided to slip over to the Gun Show after lunch today.

Not like I need much, but nice to just look around to see what is offered.

Lo and Behold....I spot on a table some Norma Powder.
First glance all I saw was R123, a powder I have not used.

On closer examination, I see a tin of Norma MRP...this I do use!
Not one, but 4 tins total. Wow! was I surprised. $30.00/tin, as well, no tax.

Then at another table, a pound of long obsolete Reloder 12, my favorite 222 powder.

You just never know what might be there.
I came home quite pleased, to say the least.

I cannot believe the last couple of gunshows I went to. Guys with horrifically overpriced guns. I think that there is the odd deal out there at these things, but they are few and far between.

I quit going to the one in P.A. as the same thing happened here... They took their Retail prices, added non applicable taxes, then threw in some milage.....

and FORGET about trades!

Cash deals only... There were a few tables with decent stuff, but one fone call to those dealers gets you the item shipped to your door.

So, I am at buddy's place this spring and he has finally started to organize his reloading room. Happened to notice that he has 8 lbs of H-870 that he doesn't use any more, still trying to talk him out of it. My 264Mag needs to eat and a little off the thread, you guys that are only finding fat guys in camo I hope you someday find slim well dressed gentlemen so you can be happy!!!

Eagleye, I was at the show on Sat along with friends from BL. We had a good time and I felt the prices were not bad depending on the table. I was looking for components for reloading. Found sone bullets in 6.5, promised myself I wouldn't buy another gun at this time, almost blew that: but I thought it was a good show.
