Whoohoo got me a WK180 in 7.62x39

Great time to buy...It's like a risk free trial. I heard the government is willing to buy back any I don't want lol.

This will be a gen 2 with an ibi bbl and a mid length gas system. Need some bulk .311 123 gr bullets now.

get a micrometer on that barrel - it *might* be at .308 already (i think that there are lots of non-russian 7.62x39 barrels at .308 out there).

According to IBI they are they are a true .311

Hey did you check the bushing in the upper receiver and see what it’s made of? Plastic like the other wk’s or?

There is no WK180 Gen 2 in 7.62x39, if someone has sold that to you they were lying. If you have bought a WK181 then that is a different gun so fair enough. Though I would not refer to that as a Gen 2 on account of it being the first version of this gun.

The govt will not be buying anything back now, the wording in bill C-21 amendment G4 does not make any reference to compensation during the confiscation.

The gas system of the WK180 & WK181 are both carbine not mid-length.

to the internet police: if i were to put a 7.62x39 barrel and bolt, and a mid-length piston, on a wk180 get 2, would i still be allowed to call it a wk180 gen 2?
