Yes, Desporterizer, I agree fully. SA stamps are out. In fact, I think everyone should get rid of those rig-rag assembled hunks of rust and start collecting REAL Mosins.
If you have some of those poor old Finn-bubbaed beasts, you can put them all in a big box and send them to me for a decent disposal. Especially the S.A.T. Rihiimaki and various junky Puolustuslaitos that seem to clutter every basement nowadays.
I'll even pay for the shipping and handling.
How's that for an offer?!!

All the history Finnish Mosins represent aside, it's getting rather hard to find an M91 still retaining it's Imperial glory.

Are Spanish Civil War Mosin-Nagants in demand? I remember when there were 5-10 of them on sale at P&S Militaria

Hey, I am not knocking the Finn rifles, its just hard to find a m91 that has not been to Finland. As to the Spanish mosins, I wouldn'y say in demand so much as unusual compared to the latest batch of imports.
Claven, I was viewer #2 on the add & figured I had better get on the 1896 before someone noticed the missing sling slots.
