Who's coming BCRA service Rifle Championships?

I would like to thank the BCRA for holding this event and would like to thank thank APRA team G McLean ,Headdamage, FNG ,Rich LPS. Beltfeed for an outstanding performance at the match . I want to to say this that next year the APRA service rifle will have at least 8 - 10 shooters attending the Match next year and the Carpet bagging will continue lol

Oh yeah I'd like to thank Slavex for letting me rack out at his place and showing me what can be done with a ball gag,a three legged armadillo and a midget dipped in chocolate.Very interesting.Rohann I believe you are going to need your bible, some holy water,a fondue pot and a couple of sharpened wooden stakes for the sniper match.

Looking forward to it. Sat is supposed to be a great day, maybe too hot almost.

Did I say "too hot almost"?

It was hotter than stink! And I wasnt even competing.
Yeah, due to lack of prep time, and getting off shift far too late on Fri night to make it to the briefing on Sat 0700, I bailed out.

But I did make it up there for a few hours later in the day to see how a SR match is run.

That range is bloody beautiful! :)

I took lots of photos. I will post them first in the Coffee Shop (mod forum), and once Longshot and Slavex have apporved them for release, I'll put them up here.

You're brutal, trashing on your biggest fan...;)

oooh ooops, sorry BCR's sorry about that!!!! I was a little worn out yesterday when I got home. I fell asleep at 7pm and woke up at 7 this morning! I haven't run that much since highschool track days and my legs are killing me today.
I let the midget go today.

Thanks to the BCRA and all those who showed for the match!
I had a great time despite a mediocre shoot:(
It was good to meet a few of the BC shooters and fellow gunnutz, although I figured there would be more there the way some talk up service shooting on here:confused:

On behalf of the APRA, I'd like to apologize for not making more room in your trophy cabinet.....perhaps next year:D :ar15:

Great match, good organization good competition. For those who haven't been to the BCRA Sercive Condidtions Championship you realy should make time next year and show up.

Slavex,

"Rich LSP"? It's Rich LPS and I think you're on "LSD".

Anyways, Slavex claims that he "slept in for the pistol match". I think that he just needs to build up some more confidence before he comes out. To say "chicken" is impolite but in all honesty there's nothing wrong with getting a little more confidence before you come out to shoot a match.

For all those who love shooting, support the shooting sports and get involved in some competitions. As the numbers of these events grow, so does our collective voice.

Rich

Had a great time, met some cool people, and shot stuff. Definitely a building block for the future (need lots of relevant practice and some changes to my setup), but I'll be back.

Oh, and I saw for myself on the first match why the US guys in Iraq often have a piece of guntape over the fiber optic on their acog. The chevron bloomed so big it overtook the entire target! Fortunately I had some wrapped on my backpack straps so it didn't fk my whole day.

ha RichLSD sounds better to me.I'll admit I was scared to go for the pistol match, things that make holes bigger than .22 cal intimidate me. with some words of encouragement from the gf I am learning to deal with it though.

Thanks for the great match guys and BCRA! And a really big thanks to Longshot for making me work harder to catch up to him ;) Now to loose at least 50lbs and get my ass to the nationals in 2008.

Is someone starting a photo tread for the shoot in the gallery? I've got a few pics to post once I get them srunk to size, a couple of videos of the some team matches to.
