Hi, I'm normally a cast bullet guy, but I'm curious who's got the cheap jacketed bullets for my mosin nagant in Canada?

Hornady 174gr FMJBT is how they are listed but the stuff that showed up was a BTHP just like a match bullet.

Also PRVI 150gr FMJ's

Tradex has the Hornady 174 hpbt for $38 per 100, but some how I don't think that qualifies for the "cheap" part of Bobby's request.

Your going to want to get a collet puller if you decide to pull a whole case of X39.

Just the thought of doing this with a kinetic puller hurts my hand !!!

And better yet than a collet buller, is a "finger-style" puller, such as the Forster (hmm, I can't seem to google one up. Forster makes a collet style, but that's not the one I mean. I'll go take a photo of mine...)

These are fast enough, and reliable enough (they never lose grip of the bullet, even with neck-sealed and crimped military ammo), that pulling bullets is actually fun.

could you use x39 powder also in a .303 with the x39 bullets for plinkers rounds? .311 bullets??

yes, you can. I just dump the case into the 303 case. much larger volume, so lower pressure. About 23 grains.

got a bunch of 7.62x54R, lackered cases that would be good reloaded into my brass cases.
