Who's Got the Best Price On A Good SKS?

cheap and get what you get would be at LeBaron's, if you get lucky to get presented a good one, don't expect to pick and choose from a large assortment, they might bring out 2-3 for you, and then they have no more interest in serving you.

or pay more and get a hand picked one by some of the guys here on the site

lebarons - 185 hardwood, and 223 for laminate

have fun

You can get a Chinese one for a little less money if you look around - several dealers are stocking them right now. I have both Russian and Chinese. The Russian ones are (sometimes) nicer in the fit and finish department, both shoot well.

The problem(s) with the Russian ones are that the franken-pinned magazine looks awful and IF you get a poor example refurb then it could be sloppy, not well fit and may not shoot very well. Some refurbs are great though. Depends on the rifle.

$169.95 at JoBrook Firearms in Brandon MB. All Tula, 1950 and up, 4 colors of bayonet, laminate and hardwood stocks. Mechanically good, stocks are iffy on some. If you have to butcher a classic firearm, you might as well do it to one of these.
