Well, moose where I live opens on the 20. So, as of then, I'll be out almost every night then as of the 1st, I'll be out for 10days or until I tag out. I effin love hunting swamp donkies!!!!

My group leaves October 4 early in the morning...should have camp up by early afternnon and catch the evening hunt on the first nite. Out for 1 week, come home saturday afternoon and still have sunday/monday Thanksgiving dinner.

Have fun!!

I love hunting them also! They give me the rush that I used to get when I first started deer hunting.
Nothing beats a moose hunt, and a few good fellas to enjoy it with.

Depature date for us is Oct 8th. Mentally I'm ready. Preparation will begin next week with assembling and packing the gear. Next will be food planning and then shopping with some preparation of that which can be frozen. By 6.00am Oct 8th the truck will be northbound to Foleyet for a mid afternoon flight into the camp followed by some scouting and walleye fishing before the season opens Saturday morning. :)

I like moose hunting so much that I may even go twice if I can swing it! I was invited by another group who has tags for WMU 16a. Depending on how the Quebec hunt goes will be the deciding factor. I may even give up the deer hunt this year for another moose hunt.

Leave on Saturday for 10 days.

My body is technically still at work, but my mind is already in the boat.
