It’s a Damascus double barrel, but I’ve never seen another with these carvings. It is missing one eye, anyone know where to get another??

Well, that makes it difficult... I can't post attachments... why is that?

You need to get a (free) photobucket account and post your picture there, then copy and paste the image link into your posting on gunnutz. From the message above it sounds like a belgian gun of some kind

Missing eye

Can't tell much from your photo, but I'd look at a catalogue of fittings to make your own fishing tackle for something that would work.
I've seen a gun stock very much like yours with inlaid eyes in the collections of the Saskatchewan Western Development Museum in Saskatoon - very likely yours was made in Belgium.

Cheers,
Bob

Where are you at? Location?

Look for eyes at a place that deals in either taxidermy supplies, or so called Decoy carving supplies. So called, because the carvings I see being done, are way too lifelike to be classed in the same bunch as something to fool a duck!

A place in Edmonton, called Bedrock Supply, is a decent outfit to deal with. Dunno if they do mail order. Get a decent digital caliper (CTire, on sale frequently, about $13) and measure the diameter and start looking around.
