The title says it all. I'm going to be in the market for a lever action in 44 rem mag in the near future and I was wondering who still makes a lever in this caliber??? I'd love to pick up a Winchester model 94 but the last few in the EE have been a little high priced for my taste. I'm thinking I'm just going to say to heck with it and buy new. Any suggestions/preferences/opinions???

Marlin make nice .44 in lever action. I had a Stainless mdl for a couple of years, yeah , I know, I should had keep it, but sold it to finance another purchase, but you can't go wrong with a Marlin. Price is high, this is the only drawback I see. For the price, a puma look good. I shoot one that my friend had, with a medallion on the stock, and it was a fun gun.

I have a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag and absolutley love it. I personally think everyone should have one. I shoot both 240gr and 180gr and don't see much of a drop at 50yds. Great little rifle. Also, I topped mine with a red dot sight. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Only problem is picking up ammo on Sundays as all the gun shops are closed and Wal Mart don't sell hand gun ammo.
