Waiting & waiting & waiting still, another month & a half for the geese to get to where i am, still do not have a semi shotgun, think im going for the Beretta A400 xtreme unico.
gonna be some good times when they start coming, love it, love it & love it, who don't?

Wingmaster, 1100, Maxus and Citori...

I am pretty jealous of you guys that can hunt geese in March...

If you have to ask. . . . .

But honestly I just like the semi. I found with a pump it was a little slower. My sx3 is quick and easy to clean, cycles super fast and handles all 12ga.

I have two for waterfowl. A Baikal that is a little heaver but sure workes well and a SBEll that I used last year for the first time.
We also get very few snows through our area in the spring. I'll have to make do with the sausage from last year

geebus, speaking of gooses....... had a flock of snows flying north over my place yesterday.... boy that's early. Crazy seen as I'm at 51.4 N and at 3000ft in the BC interior LOL don't usually see the geese showing up here for AT LEAST another 3 weeks.

Get what the heart wants and stick to your intuitions...yup that's right buy the Beretta A400 Xtreme Unico. I have one and they are in a word "Fantastic", Great features on them, pretty much rust proof, easy as pie to take right down to clean, fully adjustable stocks, and the softest shooting 12 gauge gun I have ever used and in all likelihood ever made.
Worst case you don't like it for whatever reason...it will not hang around if you put it up for sale and should hold it's value quite well.

Weatherby SA08 for me this spring. I just picked it up off the EE a few weeks ago from a stand up gunnutter. Can't wait, eight more days to go. Gotta get out to the local range and see which type of shell patterns best.:)

A note on how fast semi's are, once I managed to miss 3 times and had enough time to drop a round in and get a fourth off. So I missed 4 times on the same duck. . .f:P: With my pump I almost never got to my 3rd shot, I think the fraction of a second slower let me get a cleaner second shot. I also used to see more hit the deck with the fixed mod choke.

I think I need to get on the clays.
