I've noticed a lot of 10-22 rifles for sale in the last few weeks, way more then normal.

I guess these are the first to go when xmas presents are needed.

Cheers

Yes, but it must have something to do with the holidays. I never see that many for sale/per page, during the rest of the year.

Maybe the rising price of good quality .22 ammo is making the decision a little easier.

Unfortunately, the prices don't reflect the flooded market. Looking for a <$300 10/22 with birch stock. OR just get a CZ 452 if one shows up and isn't $500+ :)

I think a lot of people were doing some panic buying when the 10-22's were like a million behind in production and nearly impossible to find, because you never knew when you might want a 10-22 and not be able to find one in stock anywhere.
Now that they are a normally in stock item again they are more disposable for christmas present cash than when they were in demand.

Go ahead and sell your Rugers.

You should all be buying Cooey 75s.

I've had both, sold both...but if I could bring one back, it would likely be the Cooey. I'm just over 6'1", and even I found that full-sized stock to be pretty enormous for a single-shot .22 though. Shot a Winchester-built 39 last summer and really liked that little gun.

As for the number of 10-22s in the EE~a direct result of how many are out there I suppose. Either that, or, people read how great they are...buy one...they realize their shortcomings. I think Marlin sells more semi-auto 22s then Ruger does 10/22s (or did?)...but you don't see many of those on the EE.

I had a bad 10/22 right out of the box. QC must be crap these days I wonder if more people are having issues. I see lots for sale locally too.

I have a fair stash of ammo now so I bought 2 10/22's so I can buy more ammo, lol! the CZ Style and Ruger 77/22 can't shoot 'em fast enough.

I jumped on the bandwagon when the contest winner one came out this year and put 50 rounds or so though it and haven't looked at it since. I just got an older one of the EE, a ss/boat paddle that i had to have. That said the Cooey 60 i picked up off here as well will do 22 shorts in dime sized hole with open sights at 25 yards so it's a bit more rewarding to shoot.
