Why all the hate on 9mm

I love all guns equally...all have their merits. There is no such thing as a perfect gun and I want them all. That being said...the cheapest ones to shoot get shot the most.

I've had guns in .22LR, .22Mag, 9mm, 10mm, 7.62x25, .40, .45acp, .357mag .44mag, also shot many other calibers. All my handguns now are .22's and 9mm. Just comes down to ammo cost and practicality. .22 is more of a gun in hands of someone who knows what he's doing than .50 in the hands of someone who doesn't. ;)

Bah 9mm is fine with me, I shoot .22lr 80% of the time anyways. A typical day at the range is firing the little ruger until it's too damn dirty to cycle, then I take out my 9mm for 50 shots, then I go home)...
I like Colion, he makes me laugh...

If I was actually shooting at a bad-guy who was behind cover; I think I'd rather be shooting 9mm than 45-ACP.

I've seen some .45 loads that probably wouldn't go through a pizza-box. LOL.

Fine Nines are fine. The ones I owned over the years, HK P9S, four HK P7's M13/M8, a HK 4 ok it was a .380 but close enough, two Sig P210-2, one P210-5, CZ 75, Colt 1911, Colt 9mm Elite, three Inglis HP. The one I really really wanted but was out of my price range was at the time was a Korth :(

I have numbers of 9mm, 40, 45, 38......etc and I love them all. They give me all different kinds of feeling on my hand and 45ACP is my favour if I have to choose one. I can shoot much better with it on 1911 platform and HK MK23 than my Glock or CZ 9mm.
Love those big 45 hole on the paper.

IMO caliber choice is all about perceived "feel". Some guns and calibers just seem to fit and feel better than others. There is a flavor for everyone,....you just need to figure out what yours is and shoot it better than the other "my dicks bigger than yours dicks"

If there was a definite answer we would all shoot the exact same gun in the exact same cal.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's all about the fun factor. I shoot slower with a large caliber. Cost ends up being a wash. I smile more when i have to hang on for dear life lol.

If your just plinking or killing cardboard what does it matter? Also for any sort of personal defense at 10-15 ft it really doesn't matter.
