I'd love to have one of these

If thats a P90 then yes its prohib since it is select fire.

The PS90 with 16" barrel isnt, you could get it and put a shorty barrel and black stock to make it look like a P90. Got +$10K, then you MAY have a chance buying one off of the very few PS90 owners here in Canada.

It isn't a 10K gun. Long story short, only a few were imported before the US clamped down on their export. Many firearms of a "military" nature without a clearly identified "sporting" purpose have been placed on a prohibited for export list with the US State Dept. Due to the former Liberal Gov't. indifference, Canada did not request to be exempted from ITAR restrictions, thus why many of the "cool" guns and gear are now unobtanium for civilians in Canada. Stupid, but there you go. The few PS-90s in civilian hands have thus had their value vastly over inflated due to the law of supply and demand.

10k? What's so special about a P90 that makes it worth 10k?

$1600USD saw them last weekend. If the store is willing to work with you and do all the paper work and export permits you might be able to bring it in. Don't know if it is on the s....t list for export out of the US. It would be a big disappointment if it is.

If I were willing to put out 10grand for a rifle, I'd buy the FS2000 before I'd buy the PS90. Consider the ammo as well - 5.7x25 is very expensive and difficult to find, whereas. 223 widely available and cheap.

thats even fuglier than the P90

Gee I have one of each and NO they are not for sale.. But keep an eye open for my estate sale when I die one day. I am sure my wife will part with them.

P.S. the fs2000 is also unfired.

IMO, everthings for sale........for the right price!

I saw an FS2000 on the EE for $5,500 that was sold in less than 20 minutes.

This is Canada, don't you realize that the CFC is trying to ban everything from coming into our country.

#### Wads.

Their rule, if it looks scary, we ban it. They don't know their #######s from the holes in their heads at the CFC.

Besides, even if it was allowed, there would be one store in all of Canada selling it. It would cost three times as much and there would be no spare parts or accessories.

Kinda like the AR situation right now.

I tried to bring a bolt rifle in......state-side, everything was approved. But then:

Bad news on the Barrett 99-416.

I received an e-mail from my contact at the Firearms Reference Table Section, Firearms Support Services Branch, Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They have reviewed our application for a classification on the Barrett 99-416 and determined that there is a

“design linkage to the Barrett, Model 90 which the makes the Model 99 a "variant or modified version" - therefore a "PROHIBITED Firearm".”

This kind of screws our efforts to import these for civilian end users.

For fork-sake, its a bolt rifle - WTF? Unbelievable!
