Depends on the air rifle. The PAL rated ones are particularly heavy. I had a Gamo Hunter Extreme over 10 years ago, and that thing was 10lbs at least. Add a scope to it and it was a bit of a haul.
All of my non-PAL air rifles back then were much lighter - 5-6lbs on average. The most plastic ones were lighter and the wood frame ones (which I believe the Vantage is) are heavier.
Weight doesn't change between PAL and NON PAL airguns. And if there is, maybe only an few grams, and that is depends if they're using a longer piston ( in case of some Crosman guns ) As most PCP are detuned by more restricted transfer port, and lighter hammer spring. Or in some guns, bleed holes.
Owned a few different ones over the years and just picked up a Crossman Vantage due to its low noise.i
Why are they all so heavy, it's got to be 8 pounds minimum
