Why are Canadian's too good to patch when they shoot?

If everyone got to play with a spare briefcase, it wouldn't have mattered as much to most people. Quite right, that would be more fair, instead of blatantly UNfair. BUT, when a top shooter in contention to win the match gets an advantage like that, it becomes significant, even if everyone else gets to play with the prop. Matches are won or lost on the smallest of advantages or disadvantages. The guy who has to work a prop-manipulation stage(call them novelty stages) has an enourmous advantage over someone RO'ing an 8 round standing speedshoot. To say it all works out is hogwash.
Why are we trying to justify an unfair advantage with more unfair advantages just distributed differently? Wouldn't it be create more harmony and goodwill among shooters by leveling the playing field by eliminating these sort of problems?
 
IPSC IS LIKE RELIGION. We have a holy text (rule book) religious officials (Range staff) regularly worship (matches) and gods (god squad).

Way to hijack a serious topic!!
All this talk of religion will surely affect my perfomance. I am going sign up for the atheist club. But if I had to vote, I think Quigley would make a far better devil than the present one we have. Ipsik just thinks he's bad.
