Why are HP9 prices so high?

It's all about the gouge factor. The same online retailers that claim they don't overcharge sell some of their stuff online for 2x the price I can get locally from a brick and mortar shop. I paid $329.00 for my 870 Express at the height of the Obamarama and while the dollar was like 83 cents.
