Do muzzle break affect the Garmin at all?

No, not the operation of the chrony.

Might knock it over though if it’s too close to the muzzle. They are quite small and light.

Nope. I've been shooting magnums with big brakes and no issues.

2 guys that shoot long range in our group bought the Garmins, they are great, both of them have magnetospeed V3's for sale now for $400, I suspect in about 6 months time they will be selling them for $250, the garmin is all the rage

Based on info I found here I bought a Garmin yesterday as a me present for Christmas. Tried it with my pellet gun. Read every shot. Can't wait to get it out with some bigger toys.
