Why aren't there any solid reviews on Canuck shotguns?

I've been tossing the idea around of buying a Canuck Sentry for a while...

Why aren't there any reviews? I mean there are literally no reviews at all. Are they a POS? Are they underrated?

It blows my mind that in this age of information there are only a few sloppy videos of people shooting a 14" barrel Canuck from the hip. Did no one buy the O/U, semis, or longer barrelled pump?

Google Canuck Sentry review. There are plenty on Reddit, Youtube and CGN: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1710798-All-New-Canuck-Sentry-9-1!
How about this one: https://www.huntinggearguy.com/shotgun-reviews/canuck-regulator-defender-review/
In my experience with people shooting Canuck guns on the trap range, they have a tendency to break after they shoot a few hundred rounds. Everything and often. Light primer strikes, broken stocks, failure to eject, cycle, you name it. Your experience may differ.

One of the links you shared was advertising and the other link was for one of the short barrelled pumps.

People must of owned these for years. There is nothing indepth about them at all. Ive only heard third hand rumors from anyone.

Might be because there are better options out there?

Because the buyers at that price point aren't likely to put in the time and effort into making a quality video review.

They hardly invested much in the gun, so really, why would they invest more time into a good quality, edited and sequenced YouTube video review. (?)

one old English gunsmith told me ,, the only good thing about a Turkish o/u is if you leave it in the rack at the gun club, next week it will likely still be there.

Shooting is expensive. People who can afford to shoot a lot probably buy more expensive guns.
Everytime I read a Turkish shotgun review it goes like «just shot one box of target ammo, no problems whatsoever, very reliable!»

I have several Turkish shotguns I got for good deals, all of them still unfired. One day I’ll get to them and maybe give you guys a review.

Th weatherby shotguns are turkish and I have yet to have a malfunction on mine, it has been flawless..

Nobody denies the Turks can make a decent pump if the price is there. Problem is some people buy a Turkish gun for 300$ and expect a 600$ gun because of "labor cost savings"

I really like my Canuck pump gun. Simple design, not much can break. I suspect Turkish guns have come a long way. Now it will be an uphill battle for them to gain some credibility. It's like that with every new(er) kid on the block. Remember the Hyundai Pony? Now look at the Hyundai Genesis. Same deal (almost). Turkish pump guns are more at the Elantra stage IMHO. Now, you normally get what you pay for, and like any gun in their price range, plus/minus a few hundred dollars, they will probably require a break-in period and possibly a chamber polish. I can't speak with any authority on O/U and SxS, as I don't want them or need them, but I have owned numerous pump guns. The latest Turkish equivalents just can't be beat for the price. Yes, they do come equipped with some crappy low-quality sights, cheaper fasteners, and sometimes poor finishing (so does Mossberg and Remington). That's where they cut costs. The only real issue I have with them is the ridiculous branding! Too many dumb names and mostly the same base parts.

Most people don't need a review of a low end shotgun (on anything else) to tell them it's at the low end of what's available. Having someone tell you they fired 28 trouble free shots at clays thrown in their back 40 doesn't really tell you anything about longevity or quality. Fit and finish when unboxing may differ from fit and finish after lots of rounds at targets (cracks in stocks, rattles, pieces falling off, etc).

I have nothing against any brand or budget, but I'm amazed when people with cheap shotguns are surprised when they stop working.

Brand and budget....
I have some higher end firearms and some lower end firearms.
I can personally say I absolutely despise using my browning maxus during duck season with inclement weather. I usually pull out the 870. I also hate bushwacking with my Tikka and typically go to my marlin during gun season.
I like having low budget guns that I can beat the crap out of and not cringe.
If I can buy a new $400 pump with a 24" barrel (plugged) for turkey and bush chickens that I have no problem scratching up I will.
That being said I would rather not spend money if it will only last a season. That is why a trustworthy and consistent review is fairly important no matter what budget you have.
