One based on the old Nagant revolvers would be pretty awesome as well.

SCDL, ill try to say this with out being a jackass:
:stfun00b:

well that failed :)

the taurus judge ( .410 revolver) has a DA trigger pull of 8 or so pounds.

this is caused by the fact it has to spin the cylinder, #### the hammer and drop it. basic physics. 6 .410 shells x 1/2 ounces + cylinder weight compared to 5 20 gauge shells x 7/8ths of an ounce.

3 ounces in the judge, 4 3/8ths ounces in this shotgun, plus another couple ounces for the larger cylinder.

we are rotating a greater mass, thus an increase in trigger pull weight. a 13 pound pull is respectable for the design of this firearm.

I guess they could have made a fore end pump to #### it and rotate the cylinder, easing the trigger pull.

But Russians have stroooooong fingers!

Hmmm - was the original nagant revolver double action and single action or what?

I'm just thinking if you put an original nagant hammer on there...

Also - couldn't you just put two snap caps in the cylinders?

Personally I like the look of it, but that's me.

What would one of those retail for here?

There were revolving rifles once upon a time. Was not the primary objection to them the blast coming from the cylinder gap so close to your face?

Especially black powder would be exciting ;)
