Why buy an AR?

I'm with Uncle Walther. A restricted rifle is about as useful as boobies on a bull.

But the SIG PE90 is another story. Non-restricted and a fantastic piece of machinery even with the magazines pinned to five. It's more expensive but from what I've seen worth every damn penny.

Fun to shoot and yes restricted for now, but if all good little gun owners vote for the Consevatives and they get a majority next time, then you'll be able to shoot whatever you want...as long as you qualify and don't have a criminal record.

Pff, very bad analogy. Sure you can "pimp" it out, but then its still gonna be a piece of ####, tiny 4 banger when its done. You will get smoked by anything that has anymore than 4 cylinders, and people will look at you and say "Damn, what a fast and furious wannabe loser with a slow car."

I would have suggested... its more like the Corvette or Challenger of guns.

I guess you never ran into a twin turbo supra. But I think his analogy was that Civics are very popular, everyone has one and there are tons of accessories.

I'm piecing together my first AR. Initially I didn't want one but they are interesting firearms. My other reason was to be another AR owner that the government has to deal with.

I thought pimped out civic is only about look, not performance. I've seen those import racing DVDs and they are FAST! Some of them around 9 sec!

Yeah, just one right now (but I'm working on that ).

They are alot of fun to shoot though it would be nice to have 3 gun shoots here more often, and it would be ALOT more fun to shoot some gophers and coyotes with one
