why cant we get Glock .380's in canada

we could if you could import one from europe.... the USA they do not make enough points to be importable..... but canada has no such restrictions.

if you find a source let me know :)

x4

if you find a dealer, to bring thos over here, im up for one, y do have one in mi home country, they are the almost the exact copy of a g19, so if you find a dealer they must have barrel's in 106mm, they are a nice piece for ccw and selfdefence ith thos 15 round's mag.well they will be 10 in canada

this caliber was made for civilian countries where you cant own a military caliber so since there is such regulation in some countries they made the 380 so there is some pistol. it is nothing more than a 9mm but a bit different

it a pretty common round for the ultra compact ccw pistols in the states as well

Actually it was originally designed for "blow back" pistols. It's low breech pressure makes it ideal for this but still maintaining a reasonably powerful cartridge that could be used for self defense purposes. John Browning was behind the design. It made it debut just over 100 years ago. To the credit of it's design it is still with us today in a multitude of different pistols, blow back & otherwise. And still is considered a reasonable self defense cartridge.

Even if they were available in Canada, as much as I respect the Glock, I wouldn't want one in .380................ My .02................ ;)

I agree me neither. ALL the available glock 9/40/10/357/45/45 gap models are much better choices. But I'm thinking US CCW here.....my last choice would be a 380 glock when there all the other calibers and models available. EVEN the full size glocks conceal VERY well ;)

i did not know that:

but it is used as i mentioned a lot

So is 9X21, what's your point? The cartridge is ancient and still alive and popular. Everywhere but here anyway, a compact .380 is great for CCW. Though of course we have no such rights. Yet...
