Why do I need convincing to buy a handgun?

Back in the day when I received my first FAC it was only about 30 mins later I was laying down some cash for my first handgun. Never looked back.

Just do it. ;)
 
I was in your boat back in November. Albiet I only got into shooting last year (I guess I can say that now huh), the itch was there to try out pistol shooting. Its hard to convince yourself to drop $800+ into a pistol that you may not even like, but as you stated, the attractive price of the S/W MP (and glock 17 btw), its now not so hard to talk yourself outa.

I decided to take the plunge .. as knowing if you like it or not is much better then not knowing and 'saving' your money :)

rack, if you enjoy shooting as much as you indicate then you 'owe it to yourself' to explore another aspect of shooting. If you don't like it you can always sell the 'toy'......:evil:
