little recommendation from welder to welder... If a dude who gets cranky on a forum is mad at you, and you cant sleep over it. You need to get out more.... Imagine them as being a fat dude, sitting in his underwear, whom has never touched a girl... Then smile knowing your probably way cooler. Then get on the pipeline and make way more money than him and have B****'s hanging off each arm, as you drive a truck 5 times taller than it needs to be, just cause you can...
If your pipe lining you also need to develop an alcohol and blow addiction... It helps you become part of the crew quicker!

I like cool looking guns too. I just don't like stuff that doesn't function as it is intended. Kinda like a fake hood scoop on a muscle car. It looks cool but the cool factor is gone when you realize it doesn't actually scoop any air. just my opinion though. Again not trying to offend anyone
the function is still there, man. its only held back by law. my truck can do 180km, should i take it to a shop and have two cylinders removed, since i cant drive faster then 110km by law? you have a slight case of holier than thou it seems. keep in mind, he who stirs the shyt pot

I realize that your mags still function, and maybe the scoop on the muscle car was not a great analogy. Just expressing my opinion on the internet. Its not a new concept. I'll leave it at that. Even though you may think I am trying to stir the pot, I really was not. I don't want to have to like the spoon. lol
The fake scoop was made to look good, the riveted magazine was made to make someone feel safer. Both are pointless exercises.

"i prefer short mags over long mags." is just expressing an opinion. "i prefer short mags over long mags, and anyone who doesnt, doesnt make sence." is stiring the pot, %100. it all boils down to the fact that the 5/30 mags still load and feed 30 rounds without the stupid rivot. thus the rivot is some what of an over protective older brother of a beautiful girl in junior high. you'll never get any while he's around, but she still worth getting to know.
p.s. i live in parksville, let me know if you have any useless 5/30 mags to get rid of.
