Why do some of my .45 acp brass have different sized primer pockets?

i dont know if .01" is correct but it sounds like you have a mix of small and large primmer .45acp

Hi the small primer pockets are the NT which means Non Toxic more user friendly is all. Winchester and Federal are doing this on the headstamp should have NT stamped on it.
They shoot the same as the larger primer pockets. Just have to seperate them from the larger ones if you're using a progessive press because of the primer feeders don't want to push a larger primer in a small primer pocket go bang! LOL They take the small pistol primers with no problems i load both.
