Why does my Tavor have a different trigger pack?

I too have this trigger pack, and my bolt is US as well, I can't disassemble it as much as others.

I'll definitely be picking up the Geissele trigger pack as soon as its in Canada though as the trigger pull is still a bit much.

I was supposed to be going to shot show this year as media but my buddy I was going with can't go and I don't wanna go alone. I managed to get into both the morning and afternoon portion of the range day too :(
 
To the OP you have a 1st edition NO spring trigger pack, 2nd edition WITH spring attach to it is the one IWI send mostly to Canada. US version is different than ours. (plastic housing with ridge on the right) hope it helps!

Hmmm, a newly manufactured product with an old part? Maybe you are right but I just don't see why IWI does this. I'll try to find a gauge and measure the trigger pull.

What's the difference function-wise between 1st and 2nd edition? Trigger pull weight? Reset reliability?
