Why doesn't my shotgun work?

So this came into the gunsmithing shop. Customer said their Mossberg 935 wasn't working. I can't place my finger on it but I'm not seeing anything wrong here....

What wasn't working? Like, walk me through the symptoms here. Whats not working. What did you try, and what happened when you tried it? Did you try anything? lol.

$1000 dollar shotgun done in by 10 cents of cleaning swab. Gun owner baffled. This is why we can't have nice things...

I pulled 3 patches out of a guys 742 Rem at deer camp last year. Same thing....he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.

In my shop when guns come in not functioning usually the owner has added a 1/2litre of 10w30 that seems to always help because we all know guns are oil burners

What is the cleaning charge for something like that ?

I bought a M1 Garand Receiver with 20 year old cosomoline that looked better than that

ultrasonic cleaner and 3 changes and it came out clean

For a semi auto we charge $135 unless it requires a lot of work.
