Why doesn't Ruger make the Alaskan in some more all around rounds like 30-06, 300wm, 338wm, 308win, etc... ? I love the rifle but I don't need the 375ruger to kill deer and moose in Alberta. Nice round but just not what I need.
Do they all have the same open sights?
I'd rather have a laminate over the rubber Hogue...
I'm after the open sights... I've talked to a couple of smiths about having sights added to my other M77's but they seem a bit sketchy about it. Anyone know a good smith for doing this?
