Why Glock? Glock talk...

tell them manboy will pay 200 dollars for each of those terribly inaccurate glocks. i wonder if any of them know what trigger reset is? anyway the offer stands....

Not entirely sure if I understand you, but they ALL have replaced the OEM with an aftermarket reduced weight trigger bar thingamajiggy. Didnt seem to help any.

And hell, if they were willing to, you'd have to stand in line behind me for one of them at 200 bucks. I may not think their the be all and end all, but I know a deal when I see one on a decent item.

i see. well replacing parts won't help them if they don't figure out the trigger to begin with. kind of tough to explain the how to, easier to show someone i guess. when i got my first glock it took me awhile to figure it out. it wasn't a case of needing to replace parts or put thousands of rounds through it to break it in though. had to learn the trigger and practice dry-firing. once you get it, they are very accurate.

i'm not saying they are the greatest or anything like that, just that they have to be learned like anything else.

my glock 17 has never let me down in the 4 years that i've owned it,couldn't even guess a to how many rounds have been thru it,we will just say lots.as far as simplicity i think glock shines in this are as far as stripping,no external safeties or decocker to screw with.shooting ipsc for 2 years with it,no failure of any sort,so is it the best handgun out there,i don't know but i doubt it,personally hk's are too big for my girly hands:rolleyes:

Glocks are utilitarian. They serve the purpose they were intended for. They do take a bit of practice for the trigger but very good once you get the hang of it. I have a gen 1 with no grooves and an aftermarket barrel. The new barrel works fine (just a little tight). I have done many mods to it, tried a few other things but i find them good pretty much stock. The only thing I would change is the frame to a beavertail type setup. I would get the extended controls; the heavier striker spring, and the grip tape/hogue combo for the grips. Also get the instructions for the detail strip because it opens all of the door for upgrades and maintenace which allows you all of the joys of experimentation of all of those aftermarket goodies..........maybe even a mech tech.

I took to Glocks quickly. You would've thought that after a bunch of all-steel pistols that the plastic wouldn't strike me in a positive fashion. Yet I liked em. The plastic is more forgiving to the hand.
