Why I Hate Summer

Well the skeeters came out this weekend. A picture's worth a 1000 words ain't it -

Really, the camera doesn't do it justice - they were much worse. If you look close here the air is absolutely saturated with the little beggers

Makes me itchy just thinking about it. That's why I love the fall - no skeeters!

In a straight line, about 16 miles SE of Churchill. I don't envy caribou, but it's always been like that for them.

I never go to the range this time of year without the Deet. Those rotten little buggers can spoil anyone's fun!! Ever try to shoot a tiny groups with a cloud of biting insects flying around your head? Now that's a challenge! One good thing, bug season's not too long. Regards, Eagleye.

Man, I LOOOOOVE summer. You should see all the skantily (sp?) clad, nubile young women running around here! The only pest around here is me, droning around them
