Why I own Leupold scopes?

Nail hit

Who does warranty work on NF scopes in Canada? FS

on the head Fassteel.

NF is one of the so called God's of the optics world. I may or may not own one someday. The same goes for the new March scope that the BR shooters are migrating to. Only scope that is advertised to hold 100% POA. I would say for the first 5 years because that is what the warranty on them is. Oh and to the ORIGINAL purchaser only. $2500.00 for one of them, UH UH. I hear people say that if it does not go bad in short order it NEVER will. UH UH. Who they fooling.

Leupold and Bushnell rock as warranty centers are right here in Canada.

Get your NF's or March's fixed in Canada. March to Japan, NF south of the border.

I own and shoot a lot of rimfire rifles and Leupold make the 2 best scopes for rimfire rifles the 3-9x33 and the 2-7x28.

I thought the same thing, until I changed out the 3-9x33 rimfire scopes on my Coopers for a pair of Kahles CL 3-9x42 scopes. For an extra $120 each,I now have much brighter and clearer scopes.

It should not come as a surprise when a manufacture stands behind their product. But these days it seems they are a dying breed..It is nice to know that a company like Leupold is still trustworthy...It allows you to make your purchase with the confidence that if something goes wrong they will be there for you.

I've got a few dozen of them. So far I haven't broken one. Zero, nada.

When a rifle with, say, a bushnell went sour on me, I'd check the screws then pull the scope off. When a rifle with a Leupold goes sour, I check the screws then pull the barrel off.

Last time I did some gopher shooting it was in the prime light of the day and I'm pretty sure that the brightness and clarity of my Leupolds was more than acceptable. No doubt there are scopes that are more money and are brighter and scopes that are less money that may not be quite as bright. To each his own. FS

A rimfire can be used to shoot animals other than gophers.;)
